Astoria '90
Following on from the illegal parties that i would attend after Corfu '89.... myself and the clan began to venture into the capital, and it was Astoria that we would find our first legal club night with FEVER 'The Tenerife Reunion' followed by Fantasty FM all-nighters in 1990.
As anyone who went to the Astoria, be it.. The Trip, Crazy Club, Orange.... will testify, this venue was the real deal..... starting with the enormous que that would snake round the back of the building.... making your way up the steps, pass the foyer and onto the downstairs floor... showered in lazers and bass. Of course the famous upstairs tables and orange lantern lights will be forever engrained in our memories.....
